Fears of an outbreak of the Ebola Virus Disease has been reported in Nasarawa State.
The state Commissioner for Health, Emmanuel Akabe, confirmed the development.
Akabe said the state government was on top of the situation.
He,however, did not state categorically if the ailment outbreak was indeed caused by the fast spreading EVD.
The outbreak was reported in Taka-Lafia, a community in Karshi, which borders the Federal Capital Territory.
Report says five people were taken to an undisclosed hospital.
Series of tests are being carried out to determine the exact cause of their ailment.
