Information reaching The Eagle Online is that the Chairman of the House of representatives Ad-hoc Committee on the probe of the fuel subsidy regime, Hon. Farouk Lawan, is being quizzed by the police in Abuja.

Lawan, it was learnt, is being interrogated for allegedly receiving a bribe of $600,000 in order to doctor the report of his committee.
Lawan, however, denied demanding for and receiving the $600,000.
He said his image in a video clip that showed him receiving the bribe was doctored.

So why are they telling us this? What will come out of it? Will it be different from the way Bankole’s case was handled? Fuel subsidy……? How many more individuals and offices won’t be squeezed and quizzed if we are to execute real JUSTICE?
