Ahead of the rescheduled general elections, about 56,431,225 million Permanent Voter Cards have been collected so far.
The Independent National Electoral Commission announced this on Sunday.
It was however silent on whether it would be extended again or not.
On the commission’s register are 68,833,476 million eligible voters.
The rescheduled elections are billed to hold on March 28 and April 11, 2015.
In its latest update made available to reporters in Abuja, INEC indicated that the collection rate has reached 81.98 per cent.
It also states that most states have reached 60 per cent and above collection rate.
According to INEC, Ogun State has now recorded 49.45 per cent, while Gombe and Zamfara States recorded over 95 per cent.
The commission had extended the collection of PVCs twice.
