Thirty days ahead of the governorship election in Kogi State, President Muhammadu Buhari has asked the National Assembly to issue a N10.6 billion promisory note to the state.This was contained in a letter forwarded to the National Assembly by Buhari. It was read during plenary on Tuesday by the Senate President, Senator Ahmad Lawan. The request has been forwarded to the Senate Committee on Local and Foreign Debts for scrutiny.
