Gov. Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa, has cast his vote in Saturday’s Governorship and States Houses of Assembly elections, expressing optimism of victory at the poll.
Fintiri, who cast his vote Saturday morning at his polling unit 004 in Kirchinga Ward in Madagali Local Government Area (LGA) of the state, lauded the large turnout of voters for the election.
He also lauded the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC for proper preparation for the conduct of the election.
Fintiri commended the security agencies for their resilience towards peaceful conduct of the election, expressing optimism that his party would emerge victorious at the poll.
He said however, that politics was not a do or die affair, advising politicians to play by the rules of the game.
