Footballghana has learned that Nigeria has succeeded in recruiting some Ghanaian traitors to spy and report on the Black Stars for a fee.

The Nigeria national team, the Super Eagles are scheduled to take on the Black Stars of Ghana later this month in the playoff of the African qualifiers for the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Ahead of the first leg of the clash that will be staged in Ghana, officials of Nigeria have secured the services of some Ghanaians ready to betray the success of their national team for monetary gains.

The recruited traitors include sports journalists, aggrieved Ghana football administrators, as well as hungry football fans.

Among other things, the recruited Ghanaian fans are being used to hire hotels, give team’s inside information like injuries and team weak points, hire spiritualists to help them win the game.

The upcoming encounter between Ghana and Nigeria in the playoff of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier is scheduled to be staged at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
