The Federal Government has directed all Nigerian Missions abroad to issue visas to foreign journalists willing to cover 2019 general elections in Nigeria.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, said this in a statement on Friday in Abuja.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the 2019 general elections are scheduled for February 16 and March 2.
The statement said: “The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, has directed all Nigerian Missions to issue visas expeditiously to journalists travelling to cover the forthcoming 2019 General elections in Nigeria.”
