The Action Democratic Party has formed an alliance with the Peoples Trust ahead of the 2019 general elections.
ADP presidential aspirant, Mathias Tsado, made this known at a press briefing on Sunday in Abuja.
He said it was time for political parties to join forces with the aim of building better structures for the country.
He said: “It is time to do things together; it is time not to be divided against one another; it is time to be united.”
Tsado said the PT and ADP had a common vision which was to bring about the needed change in Nigeria’s political leadership.
He said: “It is time to begin to think differently in terms of political leadership that is why I will be submitting in totality my plans, dreams and visions to see Nigeria become a world class having the best basic amenities.
“I’m submitting the structure to the presidential candidate of Peoples Trust, Mr Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim so that we work together for us to achieve a better country.
“We have a capable person, Olawepo-Hashim, we must put our heads together and push the common agenda to achieve our goal.
“We want a Nigeria that works for every person.”
In his remark, PT’s presidential candidate, Olawepo-Hashim, said he was committed to bring everybody to “the table to have a better Nigeria.
He said: “We have people that we share the same vision.
“I have been in discussion with about 20 parties who have said they will be a part of this campaign in the next few weeks.”
