The Peoples Democratic Party National Working Committee has announcedNovember 14 as the last date for the return of expression of interest and nomination forms for primary elections by aspirants.
This was contained in a statement issued by Olisa Metuh, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, on Monday in Abuja.
The date, the statement said, was in line with the party’s reviewed timetable for its primaries ahead of the 2015 general elections.
According to it, the announcement followed series of enquiries by aspirants and party members across the country.
The forms, the statement added, are to be returned by all its chapters and aspirants across the federation to the party’s National Organising Secretary latest by midnight on November 14.
It stressed that any form submitted by any individual or state chapter after this period would not be accepted, adding that the deadline would not be extended.
