The National Secretariat of the Peoples Democratic Movement has announced the extension of the sale and collection of Expression of Interest and Nomination forms for the 2015 polls.
The forms, which sale would have closed on November 10, will now be available until 5pm on November 17.
The party said the completed forms must be returned to the National Secretariat not later than 5pm on November 25, 2014.
Owing to this, the schedule for primary elections has been reviewed to accommodate the extension.
The House of Assembly primaries will hold on December 3, 2014, while governorship primaries will hold on December 5, 2014.
For the House of Representatives, the primaries will be on December 7, 2014, while senatorial primaries is scheduled for December 9, 2014.
The presidential primaries is slated for December 11, 2014.
Fees for the forms and mode of payment, the party said, remain the same.
Expression of Interest and Nomination forms fees: House of Assembly, N50,000, N200,000; House of Representatives: N150,000, N350,000.00; Senate, N500,000, N2,000,000; governorship, N1,000,000, N4,000,000; presidential, N5,000,000, N20,000,000.
The party said the Expression of Interest and Nomination forms are available for collection at the National Secretariat of the party in Abuja on presentation of evidence of payment of the stipulated fees.
Women, physically-challenged persons and Internally Displaced Persons in states under State of Emergency are exempted from payment of Expression of Interest and Nomination forms.
Such IDPs must, however, produce written evidence of their IDP status from the National Emergency Management Agency or the office of International Red Cross operating in their area.
