The first week of the 2013/2014 Glo Premier League will kick off on February 21, 2014 across all the venues in Nigeria, with Sunshine Football Club taking on League’s runner-up, Enyimba, in the star match of Week 1 of the league.
New comer, Giwa Football Club, will also host the defending champion, Kano Pillars, while Nembe City FC will travel from Yenogoa, Bayelsa State, to meet Rangers International in Enugu.
Warri Wolves hosts Kaduna United in Warri while another new entrant, Taraba Football Club, managed by ex-international, Tijani Babangida, will play host to Nasarawa United FC.
Gombe United FC will travel down from Gombe to meet Akwa United FC while Bayelsa United FC will host Sharks FC of Port Harcourt.
Also, Lobi Stars FC will host Crown FC, Ogbomoso in Makurdi in the Week 1 game while Dolphin FC travel down from Port Harcourt to meet Heartland FC in Owerri.
