Former Governor of Kwara State, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed, says the Olofa of Offa, Oba Mufutau Gbadamosi Okikiola Esuwoye II, is a staunch man of the people and a peacemaker who is as focused on uplifting his people as he is on elevating Offa community.
In a congratulatory message to the monarch on his 10th coronation anniversary, Alhaji Ahmed described the Olofa as intensely passionate about Offa’s progress.
Recalling his interactions with the traditional ruler while in office, Ahmed said Oba Esuwoye leveraged his extensive network to attract development to Offa and prosper her resourceful sons and daughters.
He said in a statement by his spokesperson, Dr. Muyideen Akorede: “I saw in Olofa a monarch dedicated to doing all within his means to better Offa community and create spaces for the people of Offa to realise their highest potential in every sphere.
“He never missed an opportunity to promote Offa and his subjects’ interests.
“I witnessed Olofa’s relentless drive for his people to emulate his enormous investments in the community to make Offa greater.
“The Olofa is an influential advocate for harmony, a committed bridge-builder among communities who believed in our quest to develop economic platforms for sustainable peace in the land.”
Praying for the Olofa’s long reign on the throne, Ahmed congratulated Offa on the monarch’s coronation anniversary and said that he expects the community to witness more progress on Oba Esuwoye II’s watch.
