FC Yarmalight of Gombe’s newly-appointed Technical Adviser, Loveday Omoruyi, is optimistic that the players of the club are ready for the Nigeria National League.
This is the club’s debut in the Nigeria National League.
Omoruyi, the former Gateway Football Club of Abeokuta gaffer, disclosed this to the club’s official website, www.fcyarmalight.com, after Saturday’s training session in Bauchi.
He said: “We are building a solid team gradually; the lads have shown their readiness for the new season, because this is our first time ever to play in the second of the Nigeria football league.
“It’s a work in progress, new day, new technical approach, that’s our motto for the new season. We know that the NNL is tough.
“We have lined up some series of warm up matches for the team which we will reveal soon.
“It will involve some premiership clubs and Nigeria National League clubs as well.”
The Nigeria National League debutantes are currently in Bauchi for their pre-season residential camping.
