Veteran actor, Femi Robinson, is dead.
Robinson, known for his role of the Headmaster in the rested popular television series on the Nigerian Television Authority, the Village Headmaster, died on Wednesday at 75.
His two sons – Seun and Wole – announced his death on Wednesday on his Facebook page.
The message read: “This is to notify you that we lost our father, Femi Robinson this morning – Seun & Wole Robinson (sons).”
Robinson studied Botany at the then University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University) in the 60s.
His first known contact with acting was his role of Odewale in Ola Rotimi’s ‘The gods are not to blame’.
He was the pioneer Director of Programmes of the Ogun State Television.
With the death of Robinson, four members of the Village Headmaster cast have been lost.
Those who died before Robinson were Oba Funsho Adeolu, Chief Segun Olusola and Justus Esiri.
