Players of Dolphins FC on Wednesday stormed the Rivers State Government House to protest the club’s management’s inability to pay their last season’s sign-on fees.
The player’s accused the management of insensitivity to their plight, blaming them of withholding their entitlement since last season.
The players threatened not to honour this weekend’s game until they are paid.
Some of the players accused the management of collecting the club’s grant from government and refusing to pay them.
In the same vein, players of Sharks aborted their planned protest to the Government House after the captain, Odinga Odinga, refused to lead his colleagues because of his alleged relationship with a commissioner who comes from the same local government area with him.
