The Nigerian Army on Tuesday announced that troops have recaptured the economic and strategic town of Gamboru Ngala, Borno State, from the Boko Haram terrorists group.
According to a statement by the Acting Director of Army Public Relations, Col Sani Usman, troops “the triumphant troops are now busy with clearing and mopping up patrols”.
The dreaded Boko Haram sect has intensified attacks in the north Eastern part of Nigeria.
