A press statement by the Head, Corporate Communication of Kaduna Electric, Abdulazeez Abdullahi, stated that the Managing Director lamented the huge revenue shortfall being recorded in the market and called on the labour union to mobilize its members towards working to bridge the huge gap

The National Union of Electricity Employees and the Senior Staff Association of Electricity and Allied Companies said they have also declared “a non-working relationship” with the management of the company over the sack of 530 workers

Abayomi also said that National Union of Electricity Employees had earlier written Opara and distanced itself from him as SSAEAC leader since August 20, 2013

The president general said that the association would continue to fight until the last disengaged worker received his money
