Yusuf was on Friday ordered by Adewole to proceed on three months suspension to pave the way for an investigation following petitions written against him.
This was made known in a statement by Boade Akinola, the Director, Media and Public Relations, Federal Ministry of Health, on Friday in Abuja.
Yusuf said this at the Nigerians Medical Association leadership retreat for Chief Executives of Tertiary Health Institutions on Thursday in Abuja with the theme “Strengthening healthcare delivery in Nigeria through efficient leadership’’

The revelation came through a motion sponsored by Senator Kabiru Marafa, who enumerated unapproved spending of the Executive Secretary of the agency
The association also gave the scribe up to March 30 to redress alleged disruption and distortion of payments in the scheme or risk legal action
He mentioned that the meeting was geared towards consensus building and support among stakeholders towards repositioning the scheme for effective service delivery
