Prof. Sunday Aderibigbe, a Public Health Physician at the Department of Epidemiology and Community Health, University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, Ilorin, Kwara State, disclosed this.

Aderibighe made the submission in a paper he presented in Ilorin on Tuesday at the 2023 annual national conference and workshop of the School of Health Educators and Professionals Association in Nigeria.

From the cost of training to securing roles and the lack of financial security, actors in Nigeria must navigate a complex industry that often requires a significant amount of resources. Additionally, the absence of proper regulation can result in a pay disparity and inadequate compensation for actors, making it difficult for them to make a sustainable living. Despite these challenges, many actors in Nigeria remain committed to their skills and strive to succeed in a highly competitive and demanding industry.
