African Boxing Union lightweight champion, Oto “Joe Boy” Joseph, and West African Boxing Union welterweight king, Rilwan “Baby Face” Oladosu have respectively tipped themselves to win the N1million cash prize and the Mojisola Ogunsanya Memorial Trophy attached to the best boxer award at GOtv Boxing Night 19.

West African Boxing Union lightweight champion, Rilwan “Real One” Oladosu, and his African Boxing Union counterpart, Oto “Joe Boy” Joseph, almost came to blows in Lagos on Tuesday in continuation of their long-running boxing feud. Both boxers were present at the press conference to announce GOtv Boxing Night 19, at which they are both billed to feature against different opponents on 14 July at the Indoor Sports Hall of Lagos’ National Stadium.

Otto won N1 million cash and the Mojisola Ogunsanya Memorial Trophy as the best boxer at the 2016 GOtv Boxing Night 9, after beating Ghana’s Richard “Desert Warrior” Amefu via unanimous decision in an eight round international challenge contest
Fatai, who had lost a title fight and a challenge contest to Joe Boy, said he will beat the reigning champion like a child.
He blamed his first loss, via a knockout, on a hand injury, before losing his title to Joe Boy
Stanley “Edo Boy” Eribo, who takes on Mwankemwa for the African Boxing Union welterweight title, said his preparation for the fight have been the most grueling of his career
It got worse after their second fight when Joe Boy dethroned Prince as the national lightweight champion at GOtv Boxing Night 7.
The duo is billed to clash again at GOtv Boxing Night 10, holding at the Indoor Sports Hall of the National Stadium, Lagos on December 26
For the occasion, seven bouts, including the African Boxing Union welterweight title bout and the West African Boxing Union light welterweight title duel, have been scheduled
