From the get-go, he set his eyes on the horizon, visualising the big portrait that would later show him to the world as a leader, mentor, politician, businessman, and fulfilled family man. The journey was often punctuated by bumps, some of which were big enough to fetch him instant frustration but for Waziri Atiku Abubakar; it was a journey fated to bear fruit for him, his nuclear and extended families and the society at large.

A long and rigorous journey in search for the golden fleece which began in rural Jada Primary School a long time ago through, Adamawa Provincial Secondary School, Kano School of Hygiene, where he studied for the Royal Society of Health Diploma, and at the same time, read for “A” levels at the British Council, to the famous Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria where he earned a Diploma in Law in 1969.

The Supreme Court will on Monday commence hearing in the appeals by the three political parties challenging the election with a major ruling to focus on the leave by Atiku to file copies of the deposition of the Chicago State University (CSU) in USA on Tinubu’s diploma to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
