Spurs’ players will be looking for redemption when they visit the KC Stadium for this clash with Hull City.
Tottenham are currently in bottom-half of the table after a dismal run of just one win in their last four league games.
But they have been in fine form in cup games with three straight wins in the Europa League and the Capital One Cup.
Mauricio Pochettino has been under pressure to transfer that cup form into the Premier League and he gave Harry Kane his first start in the league in their last outing against Stoke City.
Kane has been integral to the success Spurs have enjoyed in the cup competitions but the exciting young forward could not make an impact as they suffered a 1-2 defeat to the Potters.
That was their fourth home defeat of the season in just six games. Pochettino will at least be heartened by his side’s away form as they have collected more points on the road, having only lost at Manchester City in their five away games.
