Another female suicide bomber has struck in Kano, Kano State.
This made it the second on Monday.
According to the police, the female suicide bomber struck at 1:40pm at the Trade Fair Complex, Zoo Road, close to Shoprite.
The police said the female bomber, whose age was put at about 18, died in the blast, while six other persons were injured.
She was said to have hidden the explosive under her hijab.
However, owing to the refusal of security agents to grant her access to some areas of the Trade Fair Complex, she detonated the bomb.
Earlier in the day, a female suicide bomber had detonated an explosive in Hotoro area of the city.
The explosive was detonated at the Mega Station of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, where a lot of women were on the queue to buy kerosene.
The police on its Tweeter handle advised citizens to be security conscious and report suspicious movements.
