The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Rivers State
chapter, Bro Felix Obuah has again lauded Governor Nyesom Wike’s
efforts in giving Rivers people and residents lease of life.
The PDP Chairman stated this while speaking on the commissioning of 50
Lower-high Income Houses at Iriebe in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area
of the State Friday, September 4, 2015, by the Governor as part of the
activities marking 100 days in office of the present administration in
the State.
Bro. Obuah noted that the project was part of the numerous welfare
packages promised the people during the electioneering campaign by the
Governor and the PDP, thanking Governor Wike for not disappointing the
Party but worked tirelessly in accomplishing the Housing project and
other infrastructural development projects all over the city of Port
Harcourt and environs.
He also applauded the dedication of the State Commissioner for
Housing, Barr. Emma Okah, for not leaving any stone unturned in
ensuring that the Housing initiative of His Excellency, Gov Wike
succeeds, noting that with collective efforts under proper direction
and coordination, as demonstrated by this administration under Gov
Wike, the success story is being told today in less than 100 days in
the saddle.
The PDP Chairman, Obuah, while calling on all those that will benefit
in the allocation of the facilities to maintain them, also urged the
people to reciprocate such action of the Governor by remaining
supportive and peaceful.
He further assured the people of the State that the visible
development efforts of the Governor are just a tip of the iceberg, as
the entire State will be totally revamped in the areas of human and
infrastructural development.
He reassured that in the coming days more development projects that
have direct bearing on the lives of the people and the State will be
commissioned by the PDP led Government in the State.
