The gubernatorial flag bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party in Plateau State, Senator Gyang Nyam Pwajok, has condoled with the family of former Chairman of Jos North Local Government Area and former Director General of the National Sports Institute, Sir Christopher Sarki Jang.
Pwajok, at the family home of Jang in Dutse Uku, Jos North Local Government Area, eulogized Jang as patriotic, humorous and dear to all.
He described him as one of the best politicians in Jos North Local Government Area.
The lawmaker affirmed that Jang’s death was a big loss to his family, constituents and the entire nation.
He said: “Jang will be remembered as an outstanding leader who is sincere, straightforward, an outstanding personality who had several accomplishments to his credit as a veteran politician with impeccable credentials.”
Speaking on behalf of the family, Prof. Danladi Atu said Jang’s death was “a deep and painful one”.
Adu said Pwajok was more than just a political associate to the deceased but a family member, adding that both laboured to bring about the transformation the state is witnessing now.
