The Chief Executive Officer of DO.II, a leading reputable and fast growing furniture manufacturer outfit in Nigeria, Ifeyinwa Ighodalo, has said power failure accounts for the greatest challenge facing the industry.
Speaking in Lagos on Tuesday at a news briefing, Ighodalo said the company, established in 1987, has been providing affordable solutions with excellent global standards, tailored to the uniqueness of commercial and private consumers despite the power and other challenges.
She said the company has over 60 well trained technicians and has no doubt accumulated vast experience in the interior design industry.
She, however, said contrary to what many think, the company’s products go beyond just furnitures.
She said the company is into the general space interior solutions, I. E windows treatment, turnkey construction and full after sales service.
Ighodalo listed several challenges facing the interior decoration industry, adding that power was the most challenging.
She said the company’s main goals are customer service and satisfaction.
Speaking on the affordability and expansion plans of the products and company, Ighodalo she said the new phase of the company’s plan is to reach out to the low stream sector of the population and to make the products available and affordable without losing quality.
She equally said the company was planning to spread her wings to other parts of the country.
She encouraged Nigerians to patronise made in Nigeria furniture as they now compete favourably with imported ones.
