A former Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Obong Godswill Akpabio, will on October 13 know if he validly won the election to represent the people of Akwa Ibom North West Senatorial District in the National Assembly.
The Tribunal fixed the judgement day on Sunday.
Lawyers were on Sunday informed of the date by the Tribunal.
Akpabio’s election was challenged at the Tribunal by the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Inibehe Okori.
Akpabio was the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party.
Okori’s major plank of disenchantment was that elections did not take place in most parts of Akwa Ibom State.
