The Niger State Police Command has arrested Best Origboshe of Louis and Paris Foundation International School, Minna for allegedly killing Bolatito Oduoala, a post-graduate student of the Federal University of Technology, Minna.
The command disclosed this on Tuesday in a statement signed by Bala Elkana, its Public Relations Officer.
Elkana said following a distress call from Bosso Estate, a team of policemen on patrol rushed to the scene and met Origboshe lying on the floor, with Bolatito in the pool of their blood and rushed them to General Hospital, Minna.
According to him, the woman was stabbed on her neck and breast, while the man was stabbed on his stomach.
He said on reaching the hospital, the Doctor confirmed the woman dead, while Origboshe is responding to treatment at the hospital.
The victims, it was learnt, engaged themselves in a scuffle as a result of a misunderstanding between them.
The police spokesman said the command’s Homicide Section of the Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department had commenced investigation into the incident.
He said the suspect would be charged to Court as soon as investigation was completed.
