The family of Kelvin Dashar are in the state of confusion over the mysterious disappearance of their son after vacating from school.
Their son, Amos Kelvin Dasar, from Chip in Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State is said to be a final year student on exchange programme with Ramad Secondary School in Adamawa State.
The school, according to a family source, vacated on Friday but until the time of filing this report, Amos’s whereabout was still unknown.
On Wednesday, his mother was visibly worried when a correspondent of The Eagle Online met her at the Cabinet Office of the state secretariat in Jos, the Plateau State capital.
She told our correspondent that at the state secretariat, no concrete information was given to her.
Rather, she was redirected to the Education Resource Centre for further inquiries.
Speaking on in telephone conversation later, Madam Kelvin stated that the students from the state have actually returned, but the management of the school was not certain if her son was among those conveyed from Adamawa State to Jos.
However, the Plateau State Commissioner for Education, Nanle Dashen, told The Eagle Online on the telephone that such communication was yet to reach him.
Dashen promised to provide such when the details get to him.
