The longest serving Commissioner for Justice and the Attorney General in Plateau State, Hon. Edward Gyang Pwajok, has joined the race for Riyom/Barkin Ladi Federal Constituency.
Pwajok made this declaration on Wednesday evening during his handing over ceremony to the incoming Commissioner of Justice, Olivie Dazyem, the immediate past Commissioner for Information in the state.
Pwajok, who served in the Justice Ministry for eight years, contributed to making new policies that helped in bringing peace to the state.
He said though there had been several challenges, they were surmounted.
He advised his successor to keep faith with her new office and ensure that the staff were carried along.
Pwajok said: “We are one family.
“When I was appointed to head them, nobody looked down on me.
“I deeply appreciate all the staff for making my work easier.
“As lawyers, we are trained to perform.
“Olivia performed credibility well with distinction in the Ministry of Information.
“That was reason why Governor Jonah Jang reappointed her.
