There’re too many crazy things people do without thinking twice about its consequences since the advent of the mobile phones in Nigeria.
One of such crazy things is phone sex and sending of nude pictures to complete strangers.
Two weeks ago, I was at a seminar at Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos State. One of the facilitators cautioned listeners to be very careful and scrutinize twice, if possible thrice, before uploading or sending out information via internet or phones. According to her, once you’ve clicked send, it’s already out there. And even if you delete on your end, it still hangs out there. It means someone can stumble on it and use it against you someday.
My kid sister, Glory, told me of a guy who used to send pictures of his penis to a lady. The lady will retaliate by sending pictures of her boobs and her nudeness. To them, they were having a ball.
But the tragic thing is that they are both married to different people. Can you beat that?
And before you say, yes, they’re lovers, does that make it right? They both have kids. What about if the kids stumbled on any of those pictures? You and I know how our kids love fiddling with our phones even after we’ve bought theirs for them.
I got a worrisome email last week from a fan who thinks his wife cheated on him when he was not in the country. His suspicion was based on telling text messages he saw in her phone messages. The wife denied having a lover, but owned up to indulging in phone sex with a guy.
I told him that there was no sense in breaking his marriage because of a mere suspicion and I meant it. Like I used to tell people, marriage is not a ‘boyfriend-girlfriend’ relationship, where you get to walk out in a huff just because the relationship is not going the way you want.
There are many shits that go down in marriages. Many shits that will give you indigestions, but many you have to stomach. Leaving one marriage for another doesn’t mean you’re going to have a blast at the second one. Nope! In fact, you may come out from the second badly burnt, than the first one.
In marriages, you have to know when to hold on and when to walk away.
Before I got married, I used to be nuts about phone sex, but no anymore. I prefer the real thing. No apology for that.
It seemed that the more matured I get, the more I detest it. Probably because as I age, I get more religious and reflect a lot about life and death. But be that as it may, I however always give in to it, when my guy wants it.
This brings me to the crux of the matter. If you want a phone sex, why can’t you call your guy and have it with him, rather than with another guy or a total stranger.
Just because someone calls you everyday doesn’t make him your friend. How is it possible to meet a total stranger and begin to have phone sex with him/her?
Quite simple really. There’re so many of us, who at one time or the other, must have received calls from total strangers. You really don’t know how they got your mobile line number, but there they are, chatting with you. When you ask them, they’ll tell you that they typed a wrong number and got you. They tell you, it was fate. They begin to chat with you. If you’re a lady, the caller will be a guy. If you’re a guy, the caller will most certainly be a lady.
If you give them room, they’ll begin to chat with you always, trying to get to know you. Some will even give you pet names. Most of them are fraudsters, while others who fall under that category are jobless idiots.
One of such idiots called me one day and from the sound of his voice, I knew he must be very young. All the scenarios I explained above played out. He claimed to have typed wrong digit and got me.
But since he got me, why can’t we be friends, he asked. I told him wrong number and cut off. He persisted in calling back several times, making me furious. At a point, I switched off. But immediately I switched on, guess who my first caller was. Yes, my idiot!
Then he started calling to insult me. Then he would apologise. I guess such nonsense might thrill some ladies, but hell, not me. When I told him that I would want him to speak with my husband, the calls abruptly stopped.
There’s another one, though his case is quite different from my idiot, but he’s also a pain in the butt. He sends me text messages that sometimes make me blush to the root of my dyed red hair. Then some of his text messages make my skin crawl. I only needed to see his text message to know that ‘it’s him again.’ Before I used to curse and insult him and such moves seemed to thrill him, so I stopped and resorted to ignoring him.
These days, the dirty messages are coming in trickle, not in floods anymore. Guess he’s getting tired too. Some people are just sick!
About two months ago, I interviewed a guy who had a similar experience as those I narrated above. He got a call from a lady, who claimed she dialed a wrong number. Even after the guy told him it was a wrong number, she called again and began chatting him up.
The guy was married, but the lady said she was not. The chatting with this total strange lady got to a point whereby the guy started sending her money for recharge cards. He told her about himself and his business. Situation came to a head when the lady, armed with his home address, came to Lagos all the way from Benin, Edo State with some Anti-Robbery Policemen to arrest him for robbery. Apparently, police arrested the girl, saw his name on her phone contact, asked her who he was and she fingered him as a robber. That was the yarn the police spinned, like we’re stupid or something!
My guess was that she was working with the police and probably other criminals.
The bottom-line is money for bail!
Phone sex is actually common among married couples who live or work far away from each other and who do not want to cheat on each other. It means, if you’re in the mood for sex and your guy is not available, you can call him, tell him what you want and have it with him. It has to do with imageries.
You both use words to build images that put you into the game, charging you both and making your adrenalin pump like mad. Imageries well used can get a lady wet and make a guy become turgid. I could elaborate further if you want, so that you’ll get my drift proper. First, both of you need to be naked…she tells you how she wants your tongue lapping at her nipples…suckling, dragging, kneading and palming until they’re hard…perhaps we’ll continue this discussion another day…no space.
It’s not the same thing as his shaft ramming down your honey, but it’s better than nothing. The fact that he wants you so badly, that he’s calling you on phone to have it, ought to make you feel special and desired.
We should all be careful with modern technologies. It’s the fastest form of disseminating and receiving information, but we shouldn’t make it the fastest way of ending our marriages.
It’s sheer stupidity to think that because this new guy did not impale you with his manhood, it means you’ve not cheated on your guy.
Just lusting after another guy, other than your guy, is a form of cheating. Engaging in phone sex with another guy who’s not your husband is another form of cheating.
Anything that you know is morally wrong to do with another guy, other than your guy, is cheating. Your heart of hearts will always tell you the truth.
I remembered a mail a got from a fan. He was apparently a born-again judging from the content of his email. He wanted to know if receiving a blow job from his fiancée or him giving it to her was equivalent to having sex.
Abeg see me see trouble O! Talk about taking short cut to heaven. Please what are the difference folk?
