The Founder of Nigeria Impact Awards, Omooba Damilare Oloyede, on Tuesday extolled the Midas touch of newly appointed coordinator, Emeka Nwaneri, saying the 5th NIA is becoming a 5-star event by the day.
Omooba Oloyede made this assertion while speaking with newsmen after a closed-door meeting with members of the central planning committee in Lagos.
He said: “Our new coordinator has upped the game of this award; he has brought good virtues and maintained, sustained and consolidated the credibility of the impact rewarding platform”
The founder described Nwaneri as a man poised to create a 5-star expression for the 5th edition of the annual awards.
“If you keenly watch what Nwaneri has done in the last one week, you will see that by November, Nigerians will be having the 5th edition of NIA in a 5-star expression – he has promised to shock us all with the choice of theme lecture, guest speaker and venue in Lagos,” Oloyede enthused when asked of his assessment of Nwaneri since his appointment.
NIA released the nominations of the 5th edition penultimate Monday and the voting buzz has rented the air as politicians, business moguls and entertainers as well as social workers keep mobilizing for votes.
Omooba Oloyede conceived the idea of the NIA in 2012, but appointed Emeka Nwaneri as its coordinator barely a month ago.
