The Nigeria Nationwide League One will on Thursday hold its 2015 Annual General Meeting in Abuja.
The annual general meeting will take place at Hotel De-Bentley, Utako in the Federal Capital Territory, starting from 6pm.
It will also witness the unveiling of one of the League’s partners.
The Ad-hoc Committee on NLO restructuring has deemed it necessary to call for the Annual General Meeting of the League in line with the Statutes that established the third-cadre League in Nigeria.
In a message to the members of the assembly, the Executive Secretary of the NLO, Shola Ogunnowo, said: “We hereby wish to reiterate that Article 9 (General Assembly) sub-section 4 in the approved Statutes of the Nationwide League One (The Delegates Shall Compose of One Person to Represent All Clubs in Their State. Plus FCT) will be strictly adhered to. Kindly refer to our previous communication on 15th March 2016,” Ogunnowo said.
It would be recalled that the annual general meeting was earlier scheduled for February 25 to 26 before it was postponed to enable the Ad-hoc Committee set up by the NFF on the restructuring of the Leagues conclude its assignment.
Meanwhile, the commencement date of the 2016 Nationwide League One season will be decided at the annual general meeting.
