Guinness recording the highest price loss, dropping by N2.32 to close at N131.68 per share.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that UACN followed with N1.50 to close at N40, while Nigerian Breweries fell by N1 to close at N121 per share.
Stanbic IBTC and PZ Industries dropped 74k and 70k each to close at N21.76 and N28.01 per share respectively.
Consequently, the All-Share Index lost 74.77 points or 0.25 per cent to close at 30,436.18 against 30,510.95 achieved on Wednesday.
Also, the market capitalisation, which opened at N10.457 trillion, lost N25 billion to close at N10.432 trillion.
On the other hand, 7UP topped the gainers’ table improving by N8 to close at N190 per share.
Lafarge Africa came second with a gain of N4.09 to close at N103.09, while Forte Oil gained N3.50 to close at N188 per share.
Cement Company of Northern Nigeria increased by 37k to close at N9.14 and E-tranzact grew by 12k to close at N3.45 per share.
NAN reports that investors’ staked N4.21 billion on 154.36 million shares traded in 3,154 deals compared with 222.69 million shares worth N4.39 billion exchanged in 3,601 deals on Wednesday.
An analysis of the activity chart showed that Nigerian Breweries was investors’ delight, trading 21.65 million shares valued N2.62 billion.
UBA transacted 18.31 million shares worth N77.05 million, while GT Bank sold 11.03 million shares valued N262.64 million.
FCMB traded 8.62 million shares worth N23.30 million, while Transcorp exchanged 8.31 million shares valued N17.52 million.
