The Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ibrahim Lamorde, has announced more appointments in the commission.
The appointment, which began with that of the Director of Operations, Olaolu Adegbite, was followed up on Friday with other major ones.
Mohammed Wakili has been appointed as the Director of the newly-created Internal Affairs Department, while Ayo Olowonihi, the former Head of the Special Control Unit against Mooney Laundering, becomes the Commandant of the EFCC Academy.
Bala Sanga, a former Deputy Director, Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit, moves to the Legal Unit of the EFCC Academy, while a former Director of the EFCC Training and Research Institute, now re-designated EFCC Academy, Dr. David Tukura, becomes the Director, Planning, Policy and Statistics in the newly-created Directorate of Planning, Policy and Statistics.
Osita Nwajah, an Assistant Director and the pioneer Head of Media and Publicity, becomes Acting Deputy Director, Media and Public Affairs.
Nwajah is to superintend the newly-created Directorate of Media and Public Affairs.
