Lagos socialites set for Mike Adenuga’s mother’s 10th year remembrance
The Lagos social establishment, captains of industries and several eminent Nigerians are now sitting on edges in anticipation to attend the 10th year remembrance of Madam Oyindamola Juliana Adenuga, the mother of Otunba Mike Adenuga Jnr, the Chairman of Globacom.
The billionaire businessman is said to be planning an extraordinary memorial ceremony for both parents – his mother who died 10 years ago on June 8, 2005, and his father, Pa Michael Agbolade Adenuga, who passed on June 7, 1979.
Expectedly, there would be special prayer session for the repose of their souls.
Chief Michael Agbolade Adenuga Snr was a school teacher and inspector of education, while Chief (Mrs) Juliana Oyindamola Adenuga was a businesswoman.
She got married at the age of 17, learnt sewing and succeeded greatly as a dress maker.
Well educated, she was made the Iya Alaje of Ijebu Igbo and Yeye oba of Ijebuland.
Late Oyindamola Adenuga is regarded by her admirers as the quintessential, priceless gem and a symbol of purity.
