Sacked Super Eagles’ Coach, Stephen Keshi, has departed the country’s shores to United States of America, The Eagle Online can report.
The embattled gaffer’s agent and brother, Emmanuel Ado, confirmed the development.
Ado said Keshi left for America on Saturday to join his family on holiday.
Ado was economical with words as he refused to confirm if the coach got his appointment termination letter before jetting off to United States of America.
When he say asked to confirm Keahi’s whereabouts, Ado managed to say: “Yes, he (Keshi) on leave officially.”
It can be recalled that the Nigeria Football Federation terminated Keshi’s appointment as Head Coach of the Senior National Football Team, the Super Eagles, saying the decision was made “having thoroughly reviewed the reports/findings of the NFF Disciplinary Committee and NFF Technical and Development Committee, as well as having reviewed the actions and inactions of Mr. Stephen Keshi, in the performance of his duties as Super Eagles’ Head Coach, which was found to lack the required commitment to achieve the Federation’s objectives as set out in the Coach’s employment contract”.
