Eminent businessman and former Governor of Abia State, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu, has congratulated the Chairman of the Presidential Initiative on North East, General Theophilus Danjuma, on his 78th birthday.
According to Kalu, the extraordinary qualities of the philanthropist should be emulated by other well-meaning people in the society.
These remarks were contained in a letter signed by the ex-governor and addressed to General Danjuma.
The letter reads: “I am highly delighted to join your family, well-wishers, friends and associates in celebrating the milestones you have over the years achieved in life.
“Owing to your selflessness, large-heart and patriotism, you have demonstrated to the world at large that you are indeed an iconic statesman.
“Sir, your enormous contributions to the nation in various capacities are remarkable and worth emulating.
“I am personally appreciative of your continuous fatherly advice and as such I will not relent in seeking your guidance in business, politics, leadership and philanthropy.
“As you clock 78, it is my prayer that God will continue to grant you sound health and uncommon blessings in the service of humanity.”
