Eminent businessman and former Governor of Abia State, Dr. Orji Kalu, has congratulated the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Peoples Democratic Party, Chief Tony Anenih as he clocks 81 on Monday.
In a congratulatory message signed by his Special Adviser, Prince ‘Kunle Oyewumi,
Kalu noted that Anenih’s large heart and dynamism have earned him innumerable disciples, followers and apostles, culminating in his consistent relevance in the Nigerian polity.
He said: “I join the family and millions of well-wishers of Chief Anenih in celebrating an icon whose fatherly advice and support have helped us individually and collectively.
“Baba’s ideology anchored on justice and fairness has made him a pillar of support, rallying and reference point to Nigerians irrespective of age, ethnic, religious and political divides.”
According to the statement, Kalu called for the celebration of Nigerians who have served the country selflessly in different capacities, noting that Chief Anenih’s elderly advice has promoted peace and tranquility in Nigeria.
The former governor stated further that it is very uncommon to have leaders of Chief Anenih’s pedigree who understand both the conventional and contemporary politics despite his age.
Kalu wished the celebrant long life and prosperity in the service of God and humanity.
