Former Governor of Delta State, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan has said late Justice James Omo-Agege, who was a former Chief Judge of the state, will be remembered for his dispassionate dispensation of justice from the Bench and his willingness to continue to serve God and humanity in retirement.
Omo-Agege’s demise was announced on Friday by the family.
Reacting to the death of the late Chief Judge, Dr. Uduaghan said Nigeria has once again lost another eminent member of the golden era of the nation’s judiciary.
He said Justice Omo-Agege’s tell-tale liberalism on the Bench earned him the honour as one of the sages that treaded the judicial scene.
Saying that Justice Omo-Agege lived an achievement filled and fulfilled life, Uduaghan advised the children and family to be comforted with his indelible legacies, which remain the footpath to their own successes in life.
Uduaghan said late Justice Omo-Agege will be greatly missed by all who crossed his path.
He prayed that God grants the family the fortitude to bear the loss and his soul eternal rest.
