The President and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, has at last been accredited to vote in the ongoing presidential election.
It took the usage of four card readers for Jonathan and his wife, Dame Patience Jonathan, to be recognised by the machine.
Jonathan had to initially leave when the card reader did not work for almost 30 minutes.
The President called the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Prof. Attahiru Jega, to complain about the development.
After he was accredited, Jonathan said: “I am not a ghost voter.
“My wife is not a ghost voter.
“We just have to be patient.
“So let us be patient with INEC.”
