President Goodluck Jonathan seems not ready to take chances as far as the plan to impeach him by members of the House of Representatives is concerned.
On Tuesday, the President held closed doors meeting with some PDP members in the House, led by the Deputy Speaker, Emeka Ihedioha.
Also at the meeting was the House Leader, Mulikat Akande-Adeola.
The meeting, which was held at the new Banquet Hall of the State House, was also attended by the PDP National Chairman, Adamu Mu’azu, and his Deputy, Uche Secondus.
The Eagle Online learnt that the meeting was summoned to strategise with the PDP Principal Officers in the House on how to counter members of the opposition All Progressives Congress who are plotting to impeach the President.
It was also learnt that the grievances arising from the recently conducted PDP primaries across the states was discussed.
There was no media briefing after the meeting.
