West Brom’s new boy, Brown Ideye, says he expects to join up with his teammates in time for Saturday’s friendly at Nottingham Forest.
The club-record £10 million signing agreed to join the Baggies last week from Ukraine side, Dynamo Kiev, and he hopes to finalise his work visa this week before joining up for pre-season training.
The striker missed the club’s recent US trip but is confident he will be on board in time for Saturday’s friendly against championship side, Nottingham Forest.
The Nigeria international tweeted: “Hopefully my visa will be out this week, thanks to WBA for all the support.
“Can’t wait to meet everyone.”
