The Governor of Adamawa State, Senator Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow, on Monday told a mammoth crowd in Yola that he may probe the past administrations in the state if they push him to the wall.
According to Bindow, he does not want join issues with anybody in the state as Adamawa State masses had voted him to only work and take the state out of the shackles of underdevelopment and many of the state’s elite are not happy with that.
He reiterated to the people, who converge on the platform of “Team Bindow,” to show their support for him.
He informed the hundreds of his supporters that the White Paper and records of previous governments investigated by Justice Bobboi’s Panel is still available to either indict them or wash them clean of all forms of offences.
Bindow spoke in Hausa language.
He said: “The past administration left the state in rumbles of underdevelopment.
“I took the bull by the horn to embark on aggressive road constructions and the state is given a face lift.
“I have to tell you the truth because you people voted me into power.
“Any group who attempt to undermine this administration would not be forgiven by God.
“I am brought up not to fight.
“I have not come to steal and will not steal.
“The job I am doing I have not borrowed any kobo from any bank.
“Please go and cross check at various bank.”
Team Bindow has over 200 political associations under one umbrella.
The members pledged to support the governor for re-election in 2019.
Earlier the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Alhaji Abdurahaman Abba Jimeta, said Saudi Arabian authorities have identified with the good conduct of the pilgrims from the state and pledged to support the present government in its developmental stride in the state.
