Napoli striker, Gonzalo Higuain, has passed a medical at Juventus and is now free to join the club in a £78.7 million deal, according to a report.
The Argentina international, also understood to be a target for Arsenal this summer, is said to have had his contract bought out by the Serie A champions.
Higuain could now be officially unveiled as a Juventus player this weekend, with terms on a four-year deal thought to have already been verbally agreed between the player and club.
The Mirror reports that any outside chance Arsenal had of landing the 28-year-old is now over, as a medical has been completed ahead of a record-breaking move.
Higuain scored 36 league goals for Napoli in the 2015-16 campaign to equal the all-time record in Italy’s top flight for the most scored in a single season.
