Striker, Kelechi Iheanacho, has returned to Manchester City’s starting line up in Wednesday night’s fourth round of the EFL Cup tie against Manchester United.
The young lad, who scored the match winner against Manchester United in the first season’s derby, will be joined in the attack by Nolito.
In the midfield, the Spaniard opted for Ilkay Gundogan, Jesus Navas, Leroy Sané, David Silva and Fernandinho.
Willy Caballero will be in goal while he will be provided cover by John Stones, Vincent Kompany, Nicolas Otamendi and Gaël Clichy.
Meanwhile, Iheanacho has charged his teammates to ‘fight’ if they are to claim bragging rights in the Manchester derby when they face United in the EFL Cup.
The 20-year-old insists only a battling display at the ‘Theatre of Dreams’ will see City claim prestigious scalp for the second time in as many meetings.
“It’s going to be a tough one this time – it’s going to be a very, very tough one this time.
“So we need to fight back as well when we go there, we need to fight really hard to get the win in the derby because if you lose there, you’re out of the cup.
“They have great players, they have a good squad, they have a good manager.
“It’s a football game – they can win, they can lose; we can win, we can lose. No-one knows what’s going to happen. We need to go there and fight for 90 minutes,” Iheanacho was quoted as saying on the club’s official website, www.mcfc.co.uk.
Iheanacho has scored four goals for City in all competitions this season.
