Globacom brand ambassador, Jude Abaga, who goes with the stage name MI, is billed to feature on the set of the hilarious TV Drama Series, Professor Johnbull, sponsored by the grandmasters of data, Globacom, as the sitcom screens its 26th episode this Tuesday.
It will air on NTA Network, NTA International on DSTV Channel 251 and NTA on StarTimes at 8.30pm.
MI, who plays the role of a returnee Nigerian based in New York City in the new episode titled: “Speak the Word,” is the star attraction as he comes under the radar of the erudite Professor Johnbull who schooled him on the essence of simple communication.
The new episode, according to Globacom, underscores the importance of communication and intelligibility in the society in view of the preference of youths to speak in difficult to comprehend slangs.
The company said viewers will be excited by the exchange between Professor Johnbull and MI as Professor Johnbull stresses the importance of unambiguous communication. “We have no doubt that the episode will resonate with many ‘Been-To’ youths who come back to the country with foreign accent and incomprehensible slangs,” Globacom said.
Among the questions subscribers will find answers to in the episode are: “Is Professor Johnbull himself guilty of bombastic grandiloquence? When communication breaks down, what happens? Do our youths tag along in the use of slangs just to be relevant? What is good communication?”
The repeat broadcast of the episode will be aired on Friday on the same channels at 8.30pm.
