Former Ogun State Governor, Otunba Gbenga Daniel; Senator Ganiyu Solomon; the leader of the Oodua Peoples Congress, Otunba Gani Adams; Araba Yemi Elebuibon; and Princess Toyin Kolade have been confirmed as front liners who will witness the premiere of: “A story Like Mine (Itan bi Temi).”
The movie is set for screening on August 25, 2016 at the Silverbird Cinema located inside the Ikeja City Mall, Lagos.
According to a media release signed by the Executive Producer of the movie, Chief Femi Davies: ”The idea of the movie premiere which will open in cinemas across the nation from September 02, is to screen the messages in the movie to stake holders,movie actors,movie marketers,and the general public who will later act as ambassadors preaching the ‘A Story Like Mine message’.”
The movie, which was shot by Global Frame Productions as Produced by Oyin Elebuibon for Metronews Entertainment, the business arm of Nigeria’s foremost online news platform, Metronews Nigeria, stars Yomi Fash Lanso, Aina Gold, Toyin Adegbola, Bidemi Kosoko, Lateef Adedimeji, Oyin Elebuibon, Hip Hop sensation LTK and others.
It was shot at various locations in Osogbo, Osun State.
Chief Davies further explained that the concept of the movie is to call the attention of the society to the need to reawaken family values, domestic violence in relationships among other moral projections.
The movie will open for general screening from September 2 across the nation.
It will also be screened at major campuses.
