The relative peace, which had reigned in the Nigerian football scene, may soon be shattered as some aggrieved parties are set to head to court.
It was reliably gathered that Total Promotion, which had lost the broadcast right of the league, may be heading back to court to claim back the right.
This followed the failure of the League Management Company to pay the compensation to the company.
Former Sports Minister, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, is believed to have played a mediatory role between the aggrieved parties.
Total Promotion is accusing the LMC of breach of contract following its failure to pay the compensation due her.
Total Promotion had withdrawn the case with the understanding that the compensation will be paid within a stipulated period of time.
Similarly, another group, which had dragged the Nigeria Football Federation to court over sundry issues, may also be heading back to court.
According to a party to the suit, who craved anonymity: “We have decided to seek justice in the court because all the agreement we reached with the NFF have not been met.
“We cannot be deceived a second time.
“So we want justice from the court.
“The case is not new, but we tactically withdrew based on the appeal by the former minister and some concerned stakeholders.”
