Four policemen have been reported killed and a gunboat taken away when armed men in the uniform of the Nigerian Army and Nigerian Navy stormed the Marine Police Command at Onikan, Lagos State on Sunday.
The attackers are suspected to be oil vandals.
They struck in the wee hours of Sunday.
Sources said sporadic shooting broke out in the area at about 2am.
The gunboat stolen was one of the six to the Marine Police by a former Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola, to fight waterway criminals.
